An online idea that’s snapped up for squillions—it’s the modern
fairytale, but tech startups don’t always have a happy ending. Rowan
Simpson cut his teeth on Trade Me and Xero,
and as a tech investor he’s been pitched some great ideas as well as some real

When you think about it, dashboard space in most cars is pretty useless: after all, anything you place on it simply rolls off again quick smart. An MIT creation called AIDA (Affective Intelligent Driving Agent) is intended to help drivers by turning that unused area into a 3D display that provides route, traffic and destination info, as well as controlling everything from the radio to air-conditioning. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zKLAeq1m2TY

What could be more comforting than sinking into a feathersoft bed, or returning to the well-thumbed pages of a favourite novel? Combine the two and picture yourself snuggling inside the pages of a gigantic, fluffy book.
