is one of the new wave of startups out to shake up education by
improving communication between early childhood providers and parents. Founder Nathan Li says more than 20 childcare centres around the
country, including Childspace and Littleschools, have adopted his

Tourism Australia has released a list of 100 ‘must-do’ activities to mark Australia Day in New Zealand, in a bid to get Kiwis enthused about crossing the Tasman on their next holiday. Throughout the campaign, led by OMD, Kiwis will get the opportunity
to vote for their favourite experience and have a shot at winning one of
four Australian holidays worth $10,000.

A $14 million expansion to Christchurch’s Air
Force Museum is underway after nine years of planning and delays caused
by the Canterbury earthquakes. Estimates suggest the project will generate $15 million of
economic benefit to Christchurch over that time, adding to the $6
million of gross benefit it provides each year as one of the city’s key attractions.

Fresh projections on the future of New Zealand’s energy industry have been released by the Ministry of Economic Development. New Zealand’s Energy Outlook 2011 assumes that broad trends of key economic drivers and policy settings continue along their current path. If
so, energy intensity would improve 21 percent by 2030 and renewable
energy sources could provide around 50 percent of New Zealand’s primary
energy supply.
