Josef Roberts speaks
By Vincent Heeringa,
Josef Roberts, the Kiwi who gave Red Bull its wings in New Zealand and Australia, is speaking for the first time about his amazing story: from failed property developer to beverage millionaire. And now burger chain king. A great story, told by a great speaker, Josef is the perfect person to launch the AUT Idealog Innovation Series. And you can come!
May 17, 6pm, drinks and canapes supplied, at Auckland Art Gallery. Idealog subscribers can save $10 on a ticket if you book online. Better hurry because we can only fit 220 Idealogues into the space. And we’ve already sold a heap!

Well done idealog & AUT team!
This innovation series is an innovation in itself. A great idea, built on a need in the market (clearly highlighted by tickets selling out two weeks prior), that idealog and AUT have made happen. And it added value. I think if just one person leaves this event with the conviction to now do something with that 'niggling' idea in their head then it is a success.
So I'd just like to say I admire and support your commitment to inspiring and making NZ a more innovative country.
And a couple of ideas for the 'innovation series':
1. How about taking the innovation series to the rest of the country? AirNZ might join in as a sponsor to help out?
2. What about trying some audience 'speed collaborating' - like speed dating, but you've got to see how you could collaborate with each other to innovate, as opposed to copulate.
3. I'd like to hear the idealog story. You guys are innovators and entrepreneurs too. Let's have a vote. Who'd like to hear the idealog story?
That's enough for now. Looking forward to the next one.
Nathan
