Art for Love
By Lauren Bartlett,
Ray Avery with Chen Lao Tie
We popped along to the opening of Art for Love, last night, an exhibition by Chinese artist Chen Lao Tie. It’s Chen’s first foray into the Enzed market, and as a result, there’s a chance to purchase a valuable piece for a great price, says art advisor, Paul Baragwanath.

More importantly, the exhibition has been curated to raise money for Ray Avery’s charity, Medicine Mondiale (Idealog #12). Since we chatted with Ray, things have been moving along with his life-saving product Proteinforte. The money raised from the exhibition will go towards building the production factory in Nepal. We also hear that Ray’s Acuset device is receiving lots of attention overseas. Fingers crossed for a large cheque on the licensing rights.
Chen Lao Tie’s exhibition ‘Canvas’ runs from April 27 to 23 May between 11am & 3pm weekdays or by appointment at Paul Baragwanath’s art space, Level 1B, 26 Lorne Street.
