Alt Group and Colenso collect Cannes trifecta
By The Editors,
Alt Group may need to call in structural engineers to reinforce the mantelpiece in their Ponsonby office: it has taken home more than 50 international design awards in the
last few years, and can now add a Cannes Gold Lion to the list.
Its gold for ‘The Vigneron’ for Oakfield Press and a further Lion, this time a silver, for ‘The Vigneron Centenary Wine’, was part of a Kiwi trifecta in the Design category.
Colenso BBDO, which is having a
multi-Lion winning festival (let's call it a pride), picked up a Silver
Lion for ‘Eraser’ for Alzheimer’s New Zealand.
In
Wednesday evening’s awards ceremony, on day four of the festival,
Cannes Lions were also handed out in the Press and Cyber Categories.
Colenso BBDO, shortlisted six times in the Press Category, scooped three silvers for its striking campaign for Amnesty International, while in the Cyber Category it snaffled a Bronze Lion for Yellow Chocolate for Yellow Pages.
