Moleskine in the digital age
By Design Daily Team,
New Zealand might not yet have the Amazon Kindle e-reader, but hopefully Whitcoulls' substitute, the Kobo, will fit these Moleskine covers @issue journal has posted about.
These were apparently designed in response to homemade workarounds that allow users to swaddle their Kindle while providing a note-taking surface for those of us who still like the feel of old fashioned pen against paper.
According to Moleskine, "The features and style of the cover are those of a classic Moleskine notebook: sleek rounded corners, strong elastic band, and the legenedary smooth black cover. Inside, a suede lining protects the electronic device, while four corner elastic bands hold it in place."
