Title: Eco House Book
Author: Terence Conran
Publisher: Lorraine Dickey
This is the fifth book from designer/restaurateurs/furniture-maker/retailer and Habitat store founder Terence Conran - though it’s the first to look at homes from a complete eco stance.
The book’s already a winner before you open it. The first thing that stands out is funky eco-esque cover, alluding to the ample home improvement tips inside, illustrated with numerous vibrant images.
The book is packed with useful eco advice and tips on everything including carrying out small repairs, improving your home’s energy efficiency, redecorating, furnishing and re-designing your home. In a nutshell, it shows you how to improve not only the look of your home, but also how to get a better-looking carbon footprint.
Better yet, it will look great on your coffee table. Definitely worth a read for those seeking some sleek 'n' chic eco inspiration.

I like the design of the book cover, and it is definitely a conversation maker on the coffee table. Many people think that it is not worth the time to make the house more eco-friendly, but there are so many things that you can do and still have a stylish house and this book makes the point.
