The most striking thing about Core 77’s interview with Apple design supremo Jonathan Ive is how much he sounds like an engineer. Get away from that CAD render and get into the factory. “When an object's materials, the materials' processes and the form are all perfectly aligned, that object has a very real resonance on lots of levels. People recognise that object as authentic and real in a very particular way.”
