Invading your living room space

Cast your mind back to the 80s when playing Space Invaders was all the rage. Ah, nostalgia. Igor Chak has taken that nostalgia and turned it into a concept you can quite literally sit on, with his Space Invader Couch.
The couch is as its name suggests - a space invader turned into a couch. It’s made using leather and has two glass surfaces, but as of yet, it’s only a concept.
“I really want to make this in to a reality, so if anyone is interested in building this or is interested on working with me to put this in to a limited production, please feel free to contact me,” says Chak.

Anyone who has played in an arcade in the 80s would remember space invaders. That nickel sucking machine was the all the rage amongst students and adults who could not grow up. It is nice to see someone pay homage to it via a custom furniture. It looks great on its own, and I hope someone hands him the funds to create more.
