Dow Design snags Designworks account director

Former Designworks account director Trudy Hunt has jumped ship to take on the role of account director at Dow Design, where she’ll be working on accounts for Fonterra, Tegel and Milmeq. Hunt brings 12 years of experience in branding and design project management in New Zealand and the UK. Her expertise includes brand identity and development, event sponsorship, packaging design and corporate communications.

“I like to really understand the different business needs and to pull all that thinking together to achieve design excellence. The team at Dow definitely deliver on that so it's an exciting place to be,” she says.

Hunt’s previous clients include Goodman Fielder, Unitec, Gen-i, AucklandPlus, Telecom, Eta, Nice & Natural and Griffin’s.

I think Design Daily needs to be a little more careful with it's choice of language and check the accuracy of the information being published. As a point of clarification. Trudy left the company some time ago so to characterise it as 'Jumping ship' is a bit of a stretch, given that it was last year. Also Trudy was in the role of “Delivery Leadership' as opposed to a 'Account Director'.

Q. What is the difference between a Delivery Leader and an Account Director.

A. About $50 an hour!

WTF is 'delivery leadership' anyway?

Jumping ship is sooooooooo last year.

She delivered her leadership to Dow Design - good work!
