The invisible art and the unknown business behind animation

There’s a whole lot of effort and thought that goes into animation
before we see the final product, and animator/director/producer Chis Casares is
set to indulge an audience on exactly what it takes.
Casares will delve into the art of the business plan behind every project, every IP and every idea in animation. Uncovering in depth production plans, ideal budgets and fundraising to make a story that truly entertains and connects with its audience, Casares will also explore how animation is evolving and expanding into exciting new markets such as online gaming, smartphone applications and interactive media.

Casares has16 years experience in the industry. She is director and founder of La Luna Studios, an animation company established in New Zealand in 2005 and has worked in different facilities around the world including the USA, Chile, Argentina and New Zealand.
