Winter Conversations on graphic design
By Design Daily Team,
Time to wrap up and fill up on graphic design goodness at Design Assembly’s upcoming Winter Conversations evening. Entry is by koha donation and as well as mingling with industry friends, designers Anzac Tasker, Catherine Griffiths and Nick Fracture will deliver presentations. Here’s what they have in store for you:
Graphic Tactility (Anzac Tasker) Anzac will be discussing his values towards graphic design which highlights, protests, embraces, deconstructs and reconstructs the differences between an analogue approach to creative design and the influences of technology in today’s graphic design processes. All of which influence the style of and finished look to his work.
A Type of Improvisation (Catherine Griffiths) Catherine will discuss, amongst other things, improvisation as it applies to her practice, and why it matters, through her own projects and the work of other practitioners. Tip: Attendance recommended to those booked into her workshop the following day.
How did I get myself into this (Nick Fracture) Nick will be talking about the challenges, opportunities, and rewards of working outside his comfort zone. His talk will feature a muiti-disiplinary project which involved metal, speed, wheels and big hair.
