Comic Sans bites back
By Esther Goh,
Is there any font more maligned than Comic Sans?
Originally created by Vincent Connare in the mid-90s for a piece of Microsoft children's software, it was never meant for widespread use. Little did he know it would eventually become the subject of the first-ever campaign to ban a typeface.
If fonts could talk, we're pretty sure Comic Sans would have plenty to say, as this bolshy monologue imagines.
