Forum to highlight the benefits of sustainable business
By Sustain Team,
Can managing energy in your business improve your bottom line?

The answer is a resounding yes, according to Stig Ehnbom. The president of the NZ Scandinavia Business Association says it's a matter of how, not if, and the NZSBA is hosting a forum on August 17 to that end.
“If we’re to maintain our current levels of profitability as well as our quality of life and standard of living in the future, we need to plan for long term, affordable energy options right now,” he says.
The association hopes the half-day forum at the Conference Centre in Penrose, Auckland, will foster discussion and participation between business, academia and government.
The event will be moderated by well-known business journalist and researcher Rod Oram. Speakers include representatives from the EECA, NZTE and more.
“Speakers and participants have worldwide experience in improving their company’s energy efficiency while increasing its productivity,” says Ehnbom.
“They’re willing to share this knowledge with you, but I promise you’ll get most out of the event if you’re willing to share your challenges and successes in this field too.”
