What’s wrong with cap and trade?

Cap and Trade may have formed the basis for our ETS and Australia’s recently unveiled Carbon Price Policy, but it’s a highly flawed system in its various global forms. That’s according to those behind popular initiative ‘The Story of Stuff Project’, who in the video below, explain exactly why cap and trade is fooling us into a false sense of security.
The devil is in the details it says, specifically: free permits to big polluters, fake offsets and distraction from what’s really required to tackle the climate crisis.
