Classic book covers with a tactile twist

Perhaps like me, you're still a staunch holdout against the new wave of e-readers – and you'll appreciate these reissued collectible covers of three classics as produced by Penguin.

Commissioned by award-winning Penguin art director Paul Buckley, the Threads series features cover art by Jillian Tamaki, sketched out then handstitched and embossed.

Published to coincide with the 2011 centennial of The Secret Garden, the collection also includes special editions of Emma by Jane Austen, and Black Beauty by Anna Sewell at an RRP of $26.
