Win! One click and the rise of Amazon
By Idealog,

"A case study in how to reinvent an entire industry!" the publicity people declare.
Amazon's flame may have waned as of late, but its success can't be denied.
And most of that comes down to chief executive Jeff Bezos, a man described as both a ‘happy-go-lucky mogul’ and a ‘notorious micromanager’.
Originally a computer geek, he had the vision to capitalise on the untapped online market for books, leading to a deceptively simple business model: make online shopping so easy and convenient customers won’t think twice.
Apparently Bezon is also a calculating machine who makes ‘deal-flow’ charts for every major decision, from what business to create to how to choose a spouse. Indeed.
We've got two copies of One Click worth $37 each to give away. We want to know: what's the weirdest thing you've ever bought online? Leave your comment below. Competition closes November 30.

After accidentally smashing a broken old fan heater in a house which I was renting I decided to replace it with a similar item, to avoid losing some of the bond…I managed to find a broken old fan heater in pretty much the same condition: same exact model, complete with dust and cracks. Spooky….and the owner never noticed.

A vintage lightbulb I spotted on Trade Me - needless to say my partner thought I was stark raving mad! I just love the shape of it though - it sits on my desk, beautiful in it's uselessness….

an old grate - I cleaned it up and put it on the wall and hung things of it. Sounds strange I know but it looks like something you would see on a design blog - I was totally chuffed with the result.
