Frustrated of Birkenhead
Apparently Idealog produces a very good daily email newsletter called 'The Daily Bacon'. I know this because I used to receive it. However, I recently changed my email address and as a result I stopped receiving my daily dose of bacony goodness. No problem, I thought. I will simply go to the Idealog website and sign up again with my new email address to ensure that I continue to receive Idealog's daily porky ponderings. Would that it was so easy. Turns out you can't sign up for 'The Daily Bacon' from the Idealog website. Come on Idealog, make it easy for we fans of all things porcine! How hard is it to create a 'sign up' button? I mean, do you actually WANT people to read your newsletter or not?

Dear Frustrated of Birkenhead,
I was talking to some Romans they other day and they reckon they didn't manage to build Rome – or its website – in one day.
As Idealog is clearly a work of similarly epic proportions to the Great Empire of Rome, the Idealogues are exercising patience as we work through the finer points of making online sign-ups as easy for you as possible.
I shall take the liberty of signing you up, and have put a large package of bacon in the mail to you as consolation. Do let me know how you get on with the bacon.
Regards
Hazel
