Forget Instagram, a project by David Trubridge and Brancott Estate Wines is taking Kiwis #throwbackthursday to the world stage.

It’s no surprise that pioneer of Kiwi design David Trubridge is using the theme of ‘firsts’ to inspire a project with Brancott Estate Wines for the upcoming World of Wearable Arts.

And David, who will unveil the design at WOW on October 12, is asking Kiwis to join in by submitting photos of their firsts (first steps, first car, first business deal… reminisce a little), which he’s hoping will inform him of – and somehow be incorporated into – his finished design.

David will be releasing a weekly video showing the process.
