The Gallery has shown over 200 exhibitions. There have been group and solo exhibitions including retrospectives of Trevor Moffitt, Dame Louise Henderson, Keith Patterson and Kase Jackson. The Gallery has also curated unique shows such as 'The Toy in Art' and 'Naive Art', 'The Automobile in Art' and Early NZ Photography. The Gallery Director, Warwick Henderson has also curated two touring shows specifically for public institutions, the 'Toy Show' and the 'GamesShow'. The 'Toy Show' toured NZ public Institutions including the Auckland Museum for two years.
Every year the Gallery exhibits a group show of Gallery and other leading NZ Artists and a catalogue of New Zealand Fine Art.
