Ali Middleton is a bag lady with a business—the business of eradicating the 22 million plastic bags New Zealanders use and lose every week. She’s designed a produce-inspired recyclable and recycled resin bag that can hold up to ten kilograms of your shopping at a time.

Totels can be used repeatedly, but when they finally do curl up their corners, Middleton will return them to the manufacturer for you for plastic reincarnation. And that will be a big weight off every landfill’s shoulders.
