Four Kiwi tech firms up for Red Herring honours

Four New Zealand tech companies have made it to the finals of the Red Herring Global 100 – a list of the world's top technology businesses.

Cleantech pioneer LanzaTech, cloud software company Optimizer HQ,wireless security specialist Mi5 and business software service provider Augen Software Group are all in the running for the top 100.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony in Los Angeles on December 7.

Criteria include innovation, financial performance, growth, management, market share improvement and potential for globalisation.

Last month Augen was named in Red Herring’s Top 100 Asia, the only New Zealand business to merit a place on the list.
