Jucy picks up another Golden Backpack

Jucy Rentals has been voted best New Zealand car and campervan rental company for the fifth year in a row at the International Golden Backpack Awards in Sydney.
During a 10-week online campaign, backpackers voted
for their favourite hostel, tour, car, camper and backpacker
night in every state across Australia and New Zealand.
The Golden Backpacks are Australia and New Zealand’s only dedicated awards programme for the independent travel sector.
Since launching in New Zealand in 2001, Jucy has expanded into Australia and, this year, into the US.
It is run by brothers Tim and Dan Alpe.
“Jucy is first and foremost a marketing company that just happens to run rental cars, campervans, hotels and a cruise company. The Jucy brand is our greatest asset and what sets us apart from our competitors," Tim Alpe said.
