    The Type Directors Club (TDC) is something of an institution in the graphic design community. Founded in 1994, it works to support excellence in typography—both in print and on screen—supporting research and education, and disseminating information relating to typography. And the good news for the Whanganui School of Design is that it has become the first New Zealand design school to receive a scholarship from the club.
